Holy Jesus, its good to be back. I was formerly known as NecronLord247 to those familiar with my work, to those who don't; pleasure to make your acquaintances. I am an extreme lover for Crysis and Titanfall and was heartbroken when my Labrador puppy mauled my Nanosuit figure. Instead of binning it in shame, I thought I would make a FigureRealm comeback, and got to work; after many prototypes, paint jobs and tons of green stuff, the IMC Pilot was created. Perhaps the most difficult thing I've created yet. I began by cutting strips of cheap surplus scrim netting and attached them to the arms, legs and body with PVA glue. A sandbag was used for the Pilot's scarf. Do note the fabric is seperated around the joint areas to avoid hindering articulation. I wanted authentic clothing, and it worked out rather well. With that said and done, I began making a heap of green stuff. Use it wisely, seeing as it sticks like crazy and is awfully expensive. I applied blobs to each area where there will be body armour and sculpted them into shape. The magazines, pouches and other detailed accessories are cut from NECA Gears of War figures. The jump kit was a back pack from the S2 Dom figure, the 2 canisters each side cut off, trimmed at an angle, and reattached. It looks like the real deal! The shoulder pads, leg armour and Arc Mine on the Pilot's back are from an Anya figure. The Boba Fett-esque comm link is made from plastic card. Paint job was simple, dry brushing the entire figure in Citadel's Fortress Grey. The armour was basecoated with Fortress Grey, and the rest of the detailing was picked out in cold greys and light shades. The pouches and accessories are in a sage green. The visor was painted in multiple watered down layers of Space Wolf Grey, inked with Drakenhof Nightshade, and glossed with varnish for a shiny finish. The entire body was inked with Nuln Oil for a worn and gritty effect. The Pilot's weapon of choice is the tried and true R-101C Carbine. Luckily enough, it is based around the Scar assault rifle, so my work was pretty much cut out for me. I took the Nanosuit's Scar, and clipped off the carrying handle, magazine and grenade launcher (that was glued on the Pilot's back as a new AT weapon, which I call the Titanbane Javelin.) The inverted magazine was built from plastic card and a new paint job was applied to the rifle. The final phase involved the entire rifle and figure coated in a few thin watered down layers of matt varnish so the paint wouldn't chip or peel off. Articulation is exactly the same as a Crysis 2 Nanosuit figure. Go watch a review for that seeing as the articulation is just endless. Trying to list it all would have us here until Christmas 2016. That concludes the IMC Pilot! I hope you enjoy my work, and hopefully will be returning with a new treat for you. Don't worry, it won't take another 2 years! Peace off realm-dwellers, leave comments, questions and criticisms below. -RecklessRedcoat ![]() |

Good technique in keeping the joints slacked with fabric to maintain articulation.
Clearer pictures would help show the amount of details
