After fixing up Cyber Smoke, I had a real urge to fix up some more Cyber Ninja variations. Unfortunately, that meant I would delve deep into Mortal Kombat obscurity. So, I generally opted out of trying that. But, in my search, I ended up finding this guy. First appearing in the comic Blood & Thunder, Hydro was a childhood friend of Subzero. Think it pretty much fits to say Rain replaced him in the game. Their powers and roles seem to be pretty close to the same, just their colors being different. If nothing else, it was another design to try, and a good use for one of my extra Storm Shadow bodies. Generally a straight repaint, with some sanding to the torso. Sheath and swords come from a ROC Storm Shadow, with the belt coming from Elektra. I actually cut from the front portion of her belt off, glued it to the body, and sculpted the rest around it. Fun little project that makes me wish they had even more ninjas available to work on. lol
