This was almost simple! lol I really wanted to tackle a classic Darkhawk figure so I got to work Sculpted over Guardians head. I sculpted the gauntlet over his forearm and used a small screw which I sculpted his claws onto using Ave's Apoxy sculpt so that it could be removable. The shoulder armor was simply a figure back board that I cut into form then sculpted details over the top and sealed, then attached to his shoulders to still allow for full range of motion. The pain in the butt began when I tried to figure out how to get the arms to be interchangeable. I botched it... bad. then had to salvage it using pins. So while the figure looks great and kept his articulation, unfortunately the arms weren't anchored to anything.. They sat firm. I made sure of that, but ultimate I consider this to be a gorgeous failed attempt. Maybe I'll give him another shot sometime. ;) At least he looks pretty! :P
