Here is my take on a classic Daredevil. I've always loved the second SMC version of Daredevil (the same version as in urban legends boxset) but as time went on a couple of things really started to niggle on me. Firstly the head was a little too small. Initially I was unsure if it was just because of the broad shoulders making the head look out of whack but once I sized it up to the other Legends figures I was happier with, it was clear it was too small (at least for my liking) The second issue was the boots and feet which again seemed on the small size. A few weeks ago I managed to pick up another SMC Daredevil cheap, so it was time to attempt to repair those niggles. The head is an XMC Ninja Wolverine head which I sculpted over. The body is the second version SMC Daredevil. The boots are from a TNA Wrestler figure I added these give a boxer feel. The Billy clubs are made from a wooden BBQ skewer - I was going to use a spare pair of Moon Knight nunchucks but I didn't realise how thick they are and once next to Daredevil I could see how out of scale they were. So here's my effort hope you guys like it. ![]() |
