"Unknown to The Bowman, Tony Stark has finished it." Silver Centurion 1st appearance

This is a pretty complex figure to pull off. I used the Classic Iron Man as the base, took him apart and then proceeded to dremel and sand the joints to reduce paint rub. I took the regular classic head and added some apoxie and sculpted to get the look from the comics. I also bought an old legends Silver centurion on ebay for like $4 cuz it was broken and painted black. I took the arc reactor, the shoulder/neck piece, and the crotch piece and pouches and super glued them on. I also did some heavy sculpting on the arms and legs using images from the comics as reference and once it was all done I painted the first of many layers of matte black paint. I allowed several hours between coats, it ended up being about 3 layers per color. First Tamiya Matte Black, then Testors silver and then testor's clear red, and BOOM The Silver Centurion Iron Man!!! This was the first time I really felt like the metallic paint applied well the final result is just beautiful. I have since done some of other Iron Man armors, and I aim to complete both a movie hall of armors and a comic book one so keep an eye out for 'em.
