Dragon Man is another of those characters that I spent a lot of months overthinking. A request recently came in for one, so I finally took the plunge. There was a lot of debating with the head, but this actually ended up working pretty good. The goal was to make him resemble the Marvel Legends scale one as much as possible. So, I started with the First Appearance Hulk, and sculpted up the feet and hands. Swapped out the hands for Skaar to make that part a lot simpler. Took the Toybiz Dragon Man face and attached it to Hulk's, then sculpted it over completely. Gave the body a full black repaint, then drybrushed a dark purple, followed by a light purple. Dremeled into the back to fit the wings, then just glued the tail straight on. Much, much simpler than I ever gave it credit for. I'm immensely anxious to give him another go. Love it when a project comes together so well.
