Here is one of DC's most fearsome supervillains, Roy G. Bivolo, the Rainbow Raider! To make the figure I used a DC Universe Classics Shark body, removed the fins, and re-did the shoulders and neckline with styrene and Apoxie Sculpt. The head is from a Marvel Legends ToysRUs boxset Cyclops with newly sculpted goggles. Rainbow Raider's goggles give him the power to create solid beams of light. He uses this power to create a rainbow slide that he can ride on. I really wanted to re-create this effect in the form of a display base. The base was cobbled together with various pieces of wood, PVC pipe, styrene, Apoxie Sculpt, and the cover of a 3 ring binder. The binder cover was a thin plastic that had a texture to it that worked great for the concrete base. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
