Basically I jumped in to do my best to get the cape/neck area under control. These figures are so awesome, but I hate when soft goods betray the scale. I love this figure but when he comes out of the box he just looks fluffy.I took the head/neck off and took the cape and used a leather punch to pop a hole in the cape so it rests on the peg itself. Then I removed the chain from the cape itself and clipped it down to about 12 links. I bored holes in the chest armor and pulled the chain through so it rests on the neckline instead of being a huge swinging pimp chain. Finally I took a strand of floral wire and ran it end to end inside the cape's hem and now the cape has much stronger command in wrapping over the shoulders for his static pose and also billowing behind him for action poses. I also hemmed back the skirt so that the rough edges never come up from the sides looking all untucked as well as clipping the cod piece to eliminate that loss of motion in the legs. He looks much more menacing and much less fluffy now. ![]() |
