So at first I set out only to correct the every yawning Chewbacca and give his face an "at ease" expression. Then i found other areas to improve upon. The mouth was simply sculpted over with Apoxie and then painted. THEN I went back and did a black wash on his bandolier and satchel. THEN after a couple days I came back and fiddled with articulation. He's got very limited movement in the neck so I chopped the peg, snipped the ball and then drilled a hole in the body and ball joint. I attached the ball joint to a revoltech knee double joint so now the head has this backward forward movement as well as the ability to sit taller and lower and tilt the head side to side since all of Chewbacca's emotions are controlled by his head/neck area... minus roaring of course. In the end we have a nice alteration which can still be swapped with my stock Chewbacca if he need be roaring on occasion.

I also made some alteration to the furn pieces in the lower waist, elbows and knees so he can get his legs up a lot higher for squatting poses, and leg movement altogether.
