Like so many people, I've never been a fan of the 4.5" Pike figure by Playmates. The arms and legs are just terrible. So I decided to make a new Captain Pike figure. I kept the torso, but the legs and arms come from a Playmates Chekov figure. The connection between legs and torso needed a little tweaking. The shoulders are from a Kirk-figure. They fit better to the Pike torso, and you can just swap the arms at the biceps swivel. New paintjob, and there you go. Picture 2 is a comparison shot with the regular Pike figure.

P.S.: I might go back to work on this figure some more once I get hold of a 12" Pike figure. He's got a great head sculpt, and I'd love to shrink it with Hydroshrink and use it to replace the original head. Anyone here can help me out with a 12" Pike (head)?
