Starting with a Playmates Uhura figure, I sanded down the hair, clothes, legs and hands to minimize their robust cartoon-like quality. I added hair, facial details and clothing with apoxie sculpt. I painted her up with acrylic paints, sprayed with matte sealer and she was all ready to go traveling with Grandfather.

This figure came out great! I've recently started making custom Doctor Who figures (I've posted a few here). I'm OK at bodies, but I can't paint faces. I'm curious if you'd be interested in doing some commissions of heads/faces for the 5" Doctor Who range. Let me know. Thanks!
