For the New Duds contest, I thought I'd put that Winter Soldier movie Captain America figure to good use as Nightwing. It doesn't look too different from how we're used to seeing Nightwing but hopefully it looks different enough to qualify. This look is mostly inspired by the Young Justice look for the character. The main difference are a removable set of wings - someone named "Nightwing" probably should have some wings. Made the wings from craft pleather and a piece of twisty wire to support it. I used the harness on the figure, which Cap uses to clip his shield onto in the movie, as a harness for his wings to clip onto. I dremelled off the star on his chest and sculpted on the Nightwing emblem. Used craft pleather to make the stripes on his arms. Swapped the legs for the legs from the Capullo Batman figure, painting the metallic blue into the grooves. Swapped the hands for those from a Stormbreaker Darius Sayle figure. Took the head from a movie Winter Soldier, removing the hair, sculpting new hair and the mask. The escrima sticks are made from compressed paper dowels cut to length, painted metallic grey and taped over. Appreciate the votes.
