As a former Metropolis radio show host, Leslie Willis had a reputation as a "shock jock". But when she gained her powers through an electrical accident, she began a life of crime as Livewire.

She has the ability to fire high voltage bolts of electricity and transform her body into living energy to transmit herself through powerlines.

Livewire was first introduced in the Superman animated series. And just like another bad girl Harley Quinn, who made her debut in the Batman animated series then later appeared in Batman comics, Livewire eventually established herself as a recurring villain in Superman comic books as one of Superman's most unpredictable enemies.
