Hey all!

SO--been working THIS cat for a LONG time. Trying to literally piece this sucker together in a way that looks as pieced together as he does in the game Arkham Origins: Cold Cold Heart expansion. Love the Arkham games and their innovative take on the Batman mythos. Mr. Freeze is one of my favorite DC villains, because, like Magneto (my favorite Marvel villain) he's not ALL bad.

I began DROOLING like an IDIOT when they announced this expansion and released images of Mr. Freeze. IMMEDIATELY began working this guy--shaving off his hair/bandanna, cutting off belts/straps. Sculpted his head, arms, legs, torso, backpack area and his upper helmet base.

Found a water bottle bottom I could use as the helmet-it's bigger than I'd like but I think it still looks okay. Sculpted the sleeve for the bottle piece to slip in and fit snug--he can turn upside down without the helmet falling off. Next time though--I'm using magnets and cheating, LOL.

I kit-bashed his chest armor--I cut up the soft, rubber-plastic chest cover from a DCUC metal man and used that as the base for the lower half of the chest armor. Retains flexibility and lets me glue the 'devices' to it for the details. Bits of ML and DCUC fodder, hoses from Matrix Sentinels, a bit more sculpt--and good. Honestly, there are little bits of fodder ALL over this guy, glued on and then tiny sculpt around it to lock it in.

Backpack is a tylenol bottle, cut up and glued/sculpted to the back. Bit's of fodder and a wire from a ceiling fan as the hose to the gun. The gun mounts on a microphone from a Buffy figure that is glued and sculpted into the back. The gun was from a DCUC Mr. Freeze and has a bit of sculpt on it too.

The shock pipping on his lower legs is cut pieces of G.I. Joe darts that were shaped and glued, and the joints/connections are sculpt.

Mr. Freeze fits in perfectly with the Arkham Origins DC Collectibles line.
