Hey guys, I'm back with another addition to my battle damaged TMNT set. This time I present, Splinter. I started with the 2007 CGI movie Splinter, dremeled off the shoulder pads, trimmed down the goatee and cut a little chunk out of his right ear. Next, I sculpted over the shoulder areas, fixed the goatee and added a tear to the sleeve of his robe. For the battle damage, I heated my exacto knife and made 2 cuts on his snout, a small cut on his left ear and a large cut on his right arm. I gave the figure a complete repaint, added real strips of athletic wrap to the tail and feet and covered it with a black wash. I finished it off by painting all the cuts and adding blood splatters to some areas of it. The sword is from the 2012 Nickelodeon TMNT line, painted with paint markers. Hope you all like it.
