Tabitha Smith's mutant power is that she can make delayed energy bombs. She has had many aliases, including Boomer, Meltdown, and Time Bomb, but her favourite is Boom-Boom. Although she is most affiliated with X-Force, she has also been a member of Fallen Angels and Nextwave.
Boom-Boom has been on my to-do list for years, but it wasn't until now that the right pieces came together. The Jubilee head was the catalyst, and the Spider-Girl body cemented the deal. As for the costume, I considered making the hot-pink Boomer one, but I had made it before, and didn't want to repeat myself. I decided to go with the Greg Capullo version of Liefield's original. The vest comes from X-Treme Rogue, and the rest is fodder.
