Well, I was pretty excited to play with DCC's new super-articulated bodies, but the Ultraman I bought basically broke at both wrists and both ankles. I was going to customize him anyways so I replaced his boots with ML Wonder-Man's and gave him some DCUC fists. Otherwise he's all paint, though I had to resculpt his chest to get rid of the huge sculpted logo. I like the build on this guy. It's not too big, and it's a lot leaner than the ML Hyperion body.

It is really impressive how you managed to take DCU parts and convert them into Marvel Legends... make that BETTER than Marvel Legends. This Wonder Man really captures the character spot on.

Well, it definitely helped that Gentle Giant (who work on Marvel stuff a lot) sculpted the Crime Syndicate line. I wish I'd bought the whole set....but actually I just wish they'd made the Justice League if they were going to do super-articulation and hire Gentle-Giant.

This is TIGHT!! Ultraman is a great base--I have two, none of them were broken, but I hear a lot of folks had QC issues. That series should be the baseline for matching sculpt with articulation. Articulation on that line is AWESOME--and you put it to FANTASTIC use here!

Yea, I loved what they did with everything on that line, except that weird muscle flap on the front of their thighs that goes over the hip. I totally forgot I did this extra mod, but just to make sure he fit in with ML, I resculpted that hip joint and got rid of that flap thing. It looks the worst on Superwoman.

Nice. Those new DC figs are pretty brittle. Not sure why they don't step it up. Nice enhancements though.
