I don't know why I name him Charlie Vicker. I kept trying to come up with a name for him but I kept going back to the name of Charlie Vicker. So I had to come up with a story to explain why he is still alive. So here it goes hope that y'all like it. We all know the story of Charlie Vicker the earth man who was an flamboyant playboy actor whom portrayed Green Lantern(Green Lantern) on a TV show. And how one night of his wild behavior lead to the death of his brother Roger (by former Earth criminal Al Magone who mistook the television Green Lantern for the real thing and attacked during a live broadcast) who had to stand in for Charlie Vicker. Charlie grief stricken and blamed himself for his brothers death. He demanded that Hal Jordan bring him along in his hunt for the murderer responsible, so that Charlie could avenge his brother.After finding the criminals The Green Lantern corps brought criminals terror to an end. Charlie Vicker provided himself to be more than some flamboyant playboy and granted him a Green Lantern ring from a fallen Lantern and appointed him a temporary Green Lantern.
Later on the Guardians took notice of Charlie Vicker assigned him to Sector 3319. But there the strange alien inhabitants made Charlie felt uncomfortable and alone. Until the day he saved one of the alien child then he realized that he as no different then them. he served to corps until the Central Power Battery was destroyed. Later on he joined John Stewart's Darkstars. Tho some had doubt about Charlie but he proved himself as an Darkstar and was later given the advanced Darkstar armor.During the Battle of Rann,Charlie was killed by GRAYVEN Army. Everyone thought that Charlie was dead but he had a little spark of life still in him. Maybe it was the the alien child he once saved or the heroic deeds that he have done. But that little spark of life that little WILL to live was enough for the advanced armor nanobots to begin repairs on Charlie. It took years to do the repair. After they fixed his inside they had to redo his face because his internal system could no longer breakdown organic food or breath oxygen his lungs could not handle it. So now his mouth turns any food to a liquid paste so that it's easier for his body to digest.With his body receiving a different nutrients they had to give him cybernetic eyes. After his rebirth Charlie still did heroic deeds. He would not become a Green Lantern again until Mogo was corrupted and taken over when Krona during War of the Green Lanterns. Krona send out hundreds of Green Lantern rings across the universe to recruit more members for him to brainwash. Charlie Vicker received one of the rings it fit he felt like he was home again.After the War of the Green Lanterns when many of the new recruits gave up their rings. Charlie tried to convince them that's it's one of the greatest thing that they could do with their life by becoming a Green Lantern. He even told them the story of how he was in the begin. some listen but others look at what he has become and was it worth it. They asked him if he just would of just stayed on earth and let the Corps capture his brother murders wouldn't his life been better off. Charlie would say no he may be dead by now from some stupid thing he may have done and dead a nobody it was the Corps that help him grow into the man he is today. So today Charlie fight and defend the universe with every ounce of fiber he has some corps members think that he is suicidal because he is always on the front line. But that is farther from the truth he just defending those who can't fight for themselves against evil tyrants,criminals,social scum and in the memory of his brother Roger.
