Nexus (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Nexus is nothing more than an HML AXM Cyclops. The only change was that I cut off the X logo on his belt buckle and part of the sleeve and boot cuffs and smoothed them out a little bit. I sculpted the visor and the thigh high boot tops. The energy burst is from an ML War Machine. This was overall a pretty easy custom to do, my only real hang up was the lightning bolt as I still have yet to find a decent yellow paint, so if there are any suggestions I’m all ears. Update Your Custom
Bit of advice; to get nice crisp lines on things like the lightning bolt, try using some masking tape (I like the blue painter's tape from hardware stores) and mask out the shape you are painting. This can be tough on a bumpy surface like a torso, but it can really do wonders for straight lines.
