I wanted to make a figure to show that the straight from comic to film translation does work. I got tired of hearing that the X-Men suits needed to be black leather, and that yellow and blue compression suits couldn't work on film. So I figured I'd make one that showed that it could work, after seeing Days of Future Past. They kind of did it a little bit in the movie's future scenes. One thing that I do know that in most superhero movies, the masked character loses it at some point because Hollywood needs you to see the actor's face. So thats what I did. I went with Jackman as Wolverine with no mask. His mask is still there and is off of his face and draped over his shoulders. He sports hard plastic metallic colored claws that are silver and chrome. He has a realistic skin tone that captures detail in the face and also highlights and lowlights in his hair. He was primed using Citadel primer, and hand painted using Citadel, Tamiya, Formula P3, Model Masters, and other paints. Some areas are glossy, metallic and some are flat. The colors are different shades of yellow, tans, blacks, reds, metallics, blues, and others. More pics on my social media art page and video on my channel thanks for looking! ![]() |
