Al Simmons may be dead several times over, but my love for ol' hamburger head is still alive and kicking. For this figure I wanted to showcase several of his classic looks
so from early on I planned to keep all of his elements modular. I have been very impressed with SpawnSauce's capes, but for me removable cape was a must so I heavily modified a burnt spawn cape with fabric and repainted chains from the fodder bin. On to the body which was a marvel legends constrictor making him a little shorter than I had hoped, but it makes up for it with its sweet pectoral hinge joints. The left and right forearms and hands are from burnt spawn as well as the boot. Upper left armband pouches, left lower leg and foot are sculpted with aves apoxie sculpt. Upper arm chain is more repainted fodder, belt chains are from burnt spawn also. His short cape is from hope summers, vest is from a neca dutch ,the belt is from steve rogers, the gun is from spawn IV and finaly his hellfire is a repurposed shoulder spark from superman red. As for the heads, the mask is sculpted over a dremmeled down constrictor head and unmasked is from, you guessed it, burnt spawn, with some light resculpting in the brows and cheekbones. For paints I used formula p3 by privateer press, its my favorite. Overall Im pretty happy with how he turned out, and can't wait to make the next one!
