Lots of sculpting! This guy was very fun to make with his weird stony armor. I loved how sinister this previously c list bad guy became when he picked up his hammer. When I made the Gargoyle I decided to make a devastated foam wall diorama for him to perch on because in the iron-man comics he was always jumping down on his victims from smashed buildings.
