Hello again guys , for my second post , I decided to do something more standard , since I had the parts and paint , I give you a Latina Green lantern (hey it's about time , yes!) her name is Esmeralda Rivera , she's Puerto Rican , age 27 , 5th grade school teacher , single (but not lacking pretenders) , calm and positive thinking , always with an open mind and smile , very creative and athletic , a born leader (raised in the toughest barrio of San Juan , she learned to defend herself from anyone by her 3 big brothers!) , got her ring when GL guy Gardner was KO in a fight and was almost kill (technically he went flat line for a couple of minutes) , as a safe guard the ring choose her temporarily while paramedics try to revive Guy , since he landed in the middle of the school yard , in order to protect the children , she took the fight to the nearest shore (Condado beach) and hold her own against 3 alien robots send to kill Gardner . nearly exhausted and badly hurt manage to destroy 2 of her adversaries , and just as her ring run out of power , the 3rd was destroyed by a rescue posse lead by GL Hal Jordan , commending her valor and taking Gardner with them , Jordan gives her medallion that grants her the partial powers of a GL , and names her Gardner's official substitute should anything happen to him , although not a full Green Lantern , she is truly an Emerald Knight of Puerto Rico!
Always wanted a local hero , so indulge me on this one! , recipe : base body is a WWE Diva Rosa Mendez , head is from a Portal 2 female figure , the arms are from a DCU GL figure , the white sash was a small GL Guardian figure shirt (cut and fit to her waist) , and some power FX from the Fodder bin , then finally fully painted in acrylic green and gray , hope you like my girl and Thanks!
