So Donnie got a full repaint and some fun accessories. For the backpack, I actually mixed a few drops of gloss black and gloss varnish together and painted it over the freshly painted silver. I also used sharpie oil-based paint pens for the metal looking parts (These work great). He received a similar paint app as my other 11" TMNT customs. Added leather and thread wrap on his arms and legs. The most time consuming part is all of the details (buttons, gadgets, etc). I added blue wires to his proton pack to connect parts together. Also added a 1/6 scale utility belt. Since these turtles are huge by design, I used a simple solution to make sure the utility belt fit his torso and went for the (I-live-in-the-sewer-and-have-to-be-resourceful look with the thread connecting around the back.
