This custom Captain Marvel aka Shazam is made from a knock-off public enemies superman i bought from the wet market a few years back. The base figure is the typical china made copy of the original (with lights on its chest). I already have the original public enemies superman, and since the shazam figure in the series is quite expensive, i decided to turn this china made superman into shazam.

I used procreate clay and apoxie sculpt and vallejo model color paints in customizing this figure. I didn't copy any existing shazam figure because i wanted a unique version of captain marvel. I've always thought that captain marvel should be given a more god like look, since his powers all came from greek gods. So i imagined him looking more like hercules rather than the good guy, clean cut look he always had, that is why i gave him a beard.

This is my second custom, and hopefully i could do more.
