OK, here is my 2nd Custom and the last for the foreseeable future for mainstream figures. I really like the original Hourman, especially with how he is presented in the JSA Lost Graphic Novel. He likes using 2 fistted hammer blows, he's fearless and loves pummeling villains!! I had a DC Universe Hourman, but I really didn't like the face, the chest joints, the smaller over all size and the over sized fists. I already had a Hourman II Figure and started measuring. I ordered a new Hourman II figure and pulled the head, and arms off of my current one.

I took the cape, Belt (by pulling the figure in 2, arms and sawed the boots off of the DC Universe Hourman. With robogrips I smashed the base of the cowl where it scoops out (to look like the original Hourman's)on Hourman II and pulled it off. Next I removed his harms ( the over sized fists now match with this figure)& sawed off his boots. I measured as best I could to try and match the DC Universe's boots to Hourman II's legs.

After a total paint job on Hourman II's body I glued the now trimmed out belt of DC Universe Hourman (was a full piece I had to cut the center out of & hide where it does not connect behind the cape)before attaching the cape and collar. Then came the arms after trimming the shoulder joints to match. I glued this red rubber bands for the wristband devices. With several tries I matched the boots to the leg stance and glued them to the base. Then came the patience of gluing the legs the boots and holding them fr a 1/2 hour to start setting.I propped him up to dry overnight & most of the next day.

I am pleased with the results.
