As a kid I watched 4 Disney cartoons: Gummibears, Ducktales, Tale Spin & THE WUZZLES! I LOVED the Wuzzles and my favorite character, hands down, was Rhinokey! Rhinokey is half rhinoceros, half monkey with a horizontal-stripped horn, pink fur, rhino-like legs and a long monkey tale.

For this contest I desided to beef-up Rhinokey by using a vintage 10" Big Jim Gorilla as a base figure. I sculpted the snout, horn, manes, ears, wings, tale and feet from epoxie. I used a minimates head/neck combo as a ball-joint in the tale, which works pretty well. The colours are inspired by my vintage HASBRO Rhinokey figure.
