It seems lately I'm having that moment quite often where I realize a project I've been putting off is actually quite simple to accomplish. With the awesome Batman v Superman reveals at SDCC this week, I felt an urge to jump back into some Batman customs and this guy was the first one on my list. Added a little sculpt to the cape for the spike look, and sculpted up the gauntlets. The belt was a leftover Taskmaster belt I had forgotten I had. I cut the sword and holster off and replaced both with holsters from Punisher. Simple repaint from there for the most part. Save for the emblem. It's touchy enough for me to get them even to begin with, but adding in the red circle made it quite agonizing. The Flashpoint design is one of my absolute favorite Batsuits. Seeing it was the main reason I picked up Flashpoint to begin with, and that got me back into DC comics as a whole. Interestingly enough, my favorite Batsuits are the ones when it's been Thomas Wayne under the cowl. Go figure.
