The very latest in my line of original custom armored rangers, I present the Yellow Ranger!
Trini was always my favorite female Ranger, so I just had to make her next. In keeping with her Chinese heritage (yes, I know she's actually from Houston, Texas), I designed her appearance to have shades of Chinese style armor.
I wanted her to have a skirt for a change, but wanted something to suit the tomboyish nature she has, so I chose an armored scale skirt. Her arms are protected with metal guards, each featuring a yellow diamond guard in the center. As a bit of a change in direction from my other rangers, only her hands sport the white gloves, with claws at the ends of the fingers. She has armored shoulders to balance out the skirt, and additional armor on her legs, chest, stomach, and neck. She features the standard diamond plate and ribbing, with custom power coins. As befitting someone sporting the sabre-tooth tiger, her uniform sports black stripes on her arms, legs, back, and head. Her abdomen has been modified into a ball joint to enhance flexibility, and her hips have been dremeled to allow for splits and sitting.
Her helmet is an original design I sculpted, as the regular helmets were too big for the body. The head attaches with magnets, and in a neat twist, can be posed at different angles despite having two standard vertical magnets. She's armed with a single Saber Dagger (with it's own custom sheath) that can be held in the left hand, and combined with her claws, makes Trini more than a match for any threat. MORPHINOMINAL!
