Image comics had so many great heroes that just disappeared and alot of people don't even know about them and it seems like Hasbro Marvel Legends and Mattel DC Universe will never try to bring them to life as figures anytime soon .. someone should really do a new Image Comics hero figure line... so I had an old 1995 McFarlane Shaft figure that still looks pretty good even compared to todays standards but it was just too small in scale compared to my Marvel Legends & DC Universe/Direct figures so I decided to make one using a Booster Gold figure ... his body was perfect for Shaft, it was asimple repaint after I remove the big 70's style couler... I used plain rubber bands for his wrist & ankle/calve gautlets, the knee pads are from a WildCat Voodoo figure & the bow is from the 1995 Shaft figure, thigh belt from DCU Despero baf, his elbow guard is from a pre-legends Ultron and the other two belts are just from random fodder... this was my first crack at Shaft and it came out ok but I think I can do alot better, maybe I'll use a WWE Deluxe figure body next time to give him alittle more menacing look and then he won't look so Booster Gold friendly ...Enjoy
