I had a friend introduce me to Attack on Titan a few months before the anime started and I’ve been hooked on it since. The story is pretty straightforward and I like the Titan designs. I plan on working through a few more eventually (my Colossal Titan is almost finished) and I thought I would start with Eren Yeager in his Titan form first.

He was actually a last minute project I did while waiting for my CT to dry. The body and legs are from the same 12 inch figure line, but cobbled together from various parts.

After assembling the body, the head got a completely new head sculpt, with new hair, ears and teeth. Some joints were also hit with super glue to tighten them.

Following this, the entire body was painted with numerous coats of paint. First, he was heavily dry brushed with a tan color. After that, dry brush with a combo tan/red color scheme. Finally, he was hit with several washes of brown to give the body a more ‘living’ skin color. Details on the face then followed.

Finally, I also made him a custom display stand. I know a lot of 12 inch collectors like having stands, so I thought it would fit. Figure is fully capable of being posed without it, but I thought it added some extra flair.
