I loved Gonard's version of the Kingpin , so decided to take a chance at that recipe , though I lack half his skills!
Ended up satisfactory , but I have yet some sanding to do, now that I could look at it in a big picture...
Any comments appreciated and thanks Gonard for the inspiration !

Hey!! Haha very cool man, I'm always humbled when I see someone make a custom based off of mine
I really like your version man, but if I may make a suggestion? Try layering on your sculpt and really smooth it out with your fingers then with some sandpaper, it really goes a long way
Again, great job, very cool

Thanks a lot - layering and sanding will be done next!! But then ...do I wait for the deeper layer to cure completely before the next ?

It would be best if you wait for it to cure before you add another layer so you don't mess up the detail you sculpted on previous layer. And to blend it in just push the edge of your sculpt as thin as you can and then once it dries sand it down with high grit sandpaper to blent it all in. Hope this helps!

The kind of epoxy I use here takes about 9 hs to cure , it's the same used for covering leaks on pipes...damn, I'll have to be more patient...thanks a bunch for the tip!

I recommend Aves apoxie sculpt, its what myself and many other customizers use. Its very easy to use and the cure time is also in the 2-3 hour range so thats a very big up on the convenience factor haha. If you have any more questions please feel free to PM me!
