Appearing in Disney's 1951 Alice in Wonderland animated film (which is based on the original book by Lewis Carroll), Ace of Spades is one of the Queen of Hearts' playing card soldiers. Working for her Royal Highness is a dicey job though, as she has a tendency to order the decapitation of her subjects for the most trivial, or imagined, infractions.

I made the Ace of Spades entirely from scratch, including his spade-shaped lance accessory. He moves at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and ankles. I've always been fond of these guys and they've been on my "to make" list for ages, so, the House of Mouse challenge was a good reason to finally "Git 'er done".

Woe to Ace of Spades if he doesn't manage to win a trophy in this contest, because then the Queen will surely say those four, dreaded words: "Off with his head!"
