Hi guys!

Another custom, this time it's Batman inspired by the awesome artwork of Brian Bolland from "Killing Joke".

I really wanted to try and up the articulation with this one, but keep the realism and also still keep the DC universe look.

So I added double jointed knees (a must for Bats)but added the more detailed boots from the DC Superheroes Series 3 Bats, and gave the rocker ankles more range. Then hands using the Marvel Legend toybiz Ultimate Captain America, for the great detail and finger articulation.

This time I wanted to use a plastic cape so he was more like a production figure, and then I put some deep black shading to match the artwork more and bring out some detail.

Looks fantastic. Love "The killing Joke", so anything that pays homage is bound to be great, but this is sweet. He looks pretty broody. It's excellent you have been able to give him more flexibility. What about doing a Batmobile to match??

Neat. Good parts use - is that the torso from the 1st DCSH Batman? It looks like it. I always liked that piece and used it to make my Daredevil. It's great because it's not so bulky as the DCSH series 3 Batman or any of the DCUC male bodies aside from the super skinny ones like Mercury. It works great for a Bolland styled Batman. Good work!

This is just Awesome! Killing Joke is my favorite Batman story ever written. Alan Moore Moore is just an incredible writer. Great job on this figure!
