Hello my friends , this is a quicky just to try something new , recently I started collecting the 9inch/10inch Amazingly Cool Play Arts (Square/Enix) figures and the Ame-Comi figures as well , but since I took to long it's getting hard to find them or are very expensive , so I though why not and try to make one using less costly old anime figures on the same scale , as fate would have it I already own a Japanese Galaxy Fraulein Yuna figure that was almost hiding at a corner of my collection , never truly fitting with the rest of my stuff (9inch in a 6inch collection , and he head was too big , too anime!?) , but now that the scale was not an issue all I had to do was change somehow that head to make more normal looking , lucky for me I had and extra head from a Play Arts Cammy (very plain , no pig tails , and with a big hole where the hat should be) , took of from the Yuna head the big pony tail and some other smaller parts and fit them into the Cammy head and they combined surprisingly well , the new head was Amazing but needed some tinkering around the neck area (too thin and short) solved with a small piece of plastic tubing around it to add thickness and length however due the head's weight was forced to glued to strength it (so no articulation) same problem with the legs too loose , so also had to seal the articulation in order to support the extra weight , oh well , and to add a flair of elegance , I used a long piece of red wired cloth ribbon around her as scarf , leg pant and cape all in one , when finished although is a Cammy head , because of the colors and design she remind me of the Ame-Comi Power Girl but with crazy anime style hair , witch was Perfect , as you can see this was far more than just a head switch , it was a successful experiment , that further expands my possibilities as a customizer and fits now nicely and beautifully among my other new figures in that scale , hope you like her and Thanks!
