Thank you for posting the recipes and techniques. Any chance you have tutorial videos? Or maybe you can suggest where I can learn how to extend the torso.

I don't have any tutorial videos, but any questions you have I'd be more than happy to answer.

I extended the torso by cutting it in half at the waist, and finding just a large enough piece of fodder that would give me the extra length I wanted to put between it. In this case, it was a big lego tire. I stuck a brass rod through it and into the two halves of the body to give it a good solid anchor, and glued it all back together, putting baking soda over the glue while its still dry, which makes it set super strong, but also lumpy. I sanded down the lumps, but only do this in a well ventilated area, and you'd be smart to wear something over your nose and mouth because the fumes are something awful. Then I resculpted his abs over it, though looking at it now, it was pretty rushed and didn't come out as smooth as I'd like.

Hey man, I appreciate the comment. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to work for free on anything. I just do this hobby for fun, and as a way to relax, but I can only afford to do it if its paying for itself, so I sadly have to charge for commissions. Sorry man.

Many people on the site do great work, but always breaks my heart when the pics don't do them justice, ESPECIALLY if for a contest and/or a sale. But again, great Wolvie!

Haha well, if you're using a phone to take pics, maybe try an actual camera. Or, have someone with more flair for it do you a solid!

What paint did you use and if you did, how did you thin it?

I use citadel paints almost exclusively, with a few vallejo ones thrown in, and duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye spray used for primer (you can get it at auto supply stores). I just thin with water. The secret, for me at least, for yellow is using citadels averland sunset. Its a "base" paint of theirs, meaning it has more pigment in it than regular paint, and it covers a lot better than normal paints do. Using that as a base for the yellow really eases things up.

Thanks! That's definitely what I was going for. Usually I hate when people make claws that wouldn't fit in his forearms, but this whole thing is purposefully stylized, so I thought they fit.

Crazy! I was looking at a MU Juggernaut the other day thinking how he would make a nice Classic brown suit Wolverine with some height added, but this my man is epic, and it saved me the trouble of trying it! lol One of the best Wolverines done!
