Hi all, this is a custom of Spider-Man as he appeared in Spider-Man 1. SM1 is my favourite of the 3 (mostly thanks to the Green Goblin lol), soI wanted a good figure of Spidey as he appeared in the movie.
Most people's definitive movie Spidey is the SM2 Super-Poseable one. Its pretty good, but all those joints tend to loosen, making it hard to pose. Mine can't even stand now. The joints really break up the sculpt. He always looks awkward in an action pose. Good fig, but could be better. Also, the figure didn't really give of that SM1 feel. It resembled the second and third movie costumes much more.
There was a super-poseable figure from SM1, however, it's proportions were really weird looking. Its shoulders looked like he broke them or something. So not the definitive Spidey 1 fig. He can't hit too many good poses either.
There was also the Revoltech spiderman, but it's way too expensive. Its like, $60-$70 for me (aussie prices suck)

I got hold of an incomplete wrestler spider from the first movie. I spent a lot of time strategically cutting, dremelling, and drilling his limbs, to fit Revoltech joints in. They are ratcheted and provide a very good range of movement. I took the head from a 1st movie spider (with the silver eyes, not white) and attached it with another joint. I also took a Peter Parker head and made it swappable. Way better then the rubber mask that came with some of the unmasked figures. I did take one of the rubber masks though, so he could hold it in his hand while unmasked. Looks way better than just holding the masked head. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of that. I gave him poseable hands from another 1st movie fig. He can also use the wrestler spidey hands.

This guy is both movie accurate, and super-poseable. He can hit almost any action pose. The only thing he can't do is stand in a neutral pose and look natural. Well, you can't win 'em all.
