Norman Osborn's experiment goes horribly wrong, transforming him into the true manifestation of insanity. After stealing an experimental suit of armour and glider, he sets out to kill Spider-Man! Hi all, This is a custom of the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) from Spider-Man 1. I LOVE the movie goblins design SOOOOO much. I have numerous versions of it in figure form, however, i was never really happy with any of them. The 1st series super-poseable Goblin is pretty good. He has a removable mask, always a plus. However, you could always see the back of his head. VERY frustrating. His hands were tiny and awkward looking, although they could fold up into a fist, which was cool. Also, his neck was about as useful as a cut joint. This made poses on the glider very difficult. He was metallic though-very cool The second series GG (Pumpkin-Bomb firing Glider version) looked GREAT. The angular armour, the great hand sculpt, the excellent, CLOSED (at the back) helmet sculpt, and other factors made it a very good looking figure. It was also metallic, painted in a much nicer green than the first. However, it had limited articulation, affecting poseablility. However, he had a great ball jointed neck. When Hasbro was making Marvel Legends, they released a movie goblin in the Sandman Series of figures. This goblin used the 1st series body mould, combined with a new head. This head had a CLOSED-back helmet, and a GREAT ball jointed neck. Seriously, there were literally no limits to that joint. However, being Hasbro, the figure was a dull, cheap-looking, army-man green, and had an ugly head sculpt. The details were so soft that it looked more like the organic-looking goblin mask from the comics than the hard, sharp, angular helmet from the movie. Also, none of these figures came with holdable pumpkin bomb accessories. Disappointing. So i made a custom The figure is a 1st series (or subsequent rerelease, not sure, but doesn't matter) SP GG. I cut off the ugly hands, and put in revoltech joints (my fav lol). I then gave him 2 sets of hands (relaxed/bomb holding, and fists) from some random japanese figure i had lying around. I painted these hands metallic green. They're not a perfect match, but close enough. For the head, i used the 2nd series goblin, due to its great movie-accurate sculpt, and closed back. It has a very good range of motion on this body, so he can hit lots of good poses on the glider. I also made an alternate unmasked head (not pictured-its just the 1st series head with the hair painted brown) I gave him some bombs and a custom made flight stand and I'm DONE. Perfect Movie goblin representation, at least to me. Thanks for looking and ENJOY! "The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout. Down came the Goblin and took the spider out.
