I’m a big fan of the Avatar series and I’ve wanted to do something in that area for a while now.
I liked the battle armor set that Appa wore in the series during the Invasion story. I really liked its design and wondered what a similar concept would look like on Naga.

The recipe was fairly simple. Naga was a polar bear figure from some movie that I’ve had around for a while and came with the armor, which I really liked and didn’t need to repaint. I sanded down the original ears and sculpted new one. A new tail was also gathered and put on to better reflect the show, before the whole figure was repainted and sealed.

Figure measures about 9 inches long and about 3 inches tall, making her perfect for 3.75 scale figures. Figure has 8 points of movement (legs, paws, head and mouth) and the armor is all plastic/rubber and is removable. Finally, the original figure had this cool ‘attack button’ which, when pushed, causes the front legs to swing back and forth to look like it’s attacking, which I kept.
