Thanks to Super Street Fighter IV coming up on Xbox 360 free to Gold Members, I was able to go ahead and get it and upgrade to Ultra. Really enjoying the game, and it rekindled my interest in Street Fighter customs. And the timing for that was perfect. A few weeks ago I was asked to make a Balrog custom. Unfortunately, I can be a bit of a perfectionist at times, and couldn't settle on a proper head. Finally I opted to give Drax a shot, and it worked out perfectly. The details to this guy felt extensive. Sculpting over multiple sittings, with tedious sanding on top of it. I swapped out the lower legs for Wrecker, and sanded away the pants hanging over the boots. I sculpted up the shorts, the belt, hair, and both shirts. A full repaint later, and I love how he came out. Been taking so many pictures of him. I also have no clue when I got the gloves from. I picked them up ages ago, and I'm not even sure if the cast site is still open. If anyone knows where to grab them from, though, let me know. I definitely want to get more and try this guy again!
