My first movie Transformer since 2010. We have all seen the lackadaisical amount of paint applications on the new movie toys, well after a friend sent me an entire case of the movie toys, just to prove he could get me into them again, and see what I could do to improve them, I decided to begin with Bee here.

He features an improved and screen accurate paint job, complete with combat worn metallic paint job. rust, oil spats, gears and the usual goodies. His head was fully repainted to match the concept artwork and getting rid of the useless light pipe feature. In car mode he was pretty much accurate from the factory, just deleted the autobot sigil (he is in undercover mode...why in blazes would he be flaunting his badge?) detailed tail lights, tag, glossy fender covers, and spoiler supports.

Thanks for checking!

Yeah it seems here in the UK I've only seen the 'proper' AoE figures such as Deluxes and Voyagers at a Toys R' Us which is quite far from me. All the supermarkets and smaller toystores seem to only be stocking the simple one-step changers, sparky things and constructbots. I understand the appeal of those lines but it pisses me off when they make it almost impossible for me to buy the proper ones. Oh well, I was planning to order the Takara versions of Voyager Evasion Prime and Leader Grimlock anyway but I would like this Bee to paint up too.

Looks great. I will do this to my own one if I can ever find them to purchase. They seem to only be selling the simplified kiddy ranges here. Hm, just reminded me that the 2007 Concept Camaro Bee was the first figure I ever did an extensive repaint of. I still have it as a reminder despite having superior Bee figures.

Oh wow really? Here in Florida all stores carry them! I even saw Hound and Galvatron the other day. Wish you good luck!
