First I started with the mouth. I used a thin paintbrush to make the basic outline, then I filled it in with black paint. When that was done, I painted over it with a layer of translusant red for a finish. Then the eyes were easy. For the antennas I rolled up some small clay balls and pressed them onto the side of the figures' heads. Then I cut up a paper clip and stuck it onto the clay. When that was done I painted over that with a silver finish. Finally, I painted a serial number onto the shoulder plate of the figures to give them a factory- like feeling.
