I had to fix Nova. He needed a metallic paint job. The flat yellow wasn't cutting it for me and that he had no accessories didn't help. So I repainted the figure completely. He now sports a dark gold metallic paint job and metallic blue sheen to his armor. The red star on his helmet is also metallic. I wanted to make the helmet removable but it cant work with a head that has hair. So I did the next best thing. I gave him a Richard Rider unhelmeted alternate head that is interchangeable with Nova helmet head. They just pop off and you can place either on the neck post. The skin tones were painted realistically. I wanted to show that Nova has powers. So I gave him two energy effects that fit over his fists. The energy effects lock in place over the forearms and hold tight but are completely removable from the figure. He is super articulated and in scale with all other Marvel Legends figures. He was primed using Citadel primer, and hand painted using Citadel, Tamiya, Formula P3, Model Masters, and other paints. Some areas are glossy, metallic and some are flat. The colors are different shades of blues, yellows, blacks, reds, golds, and others. thanks for looking guys!!! ![]() |
