Hello my friends , first of all I must Thank fellow customizer Banner/Hulk , whose winning custom in the recent New Additions contest serve as inspiration for this particular piece that is in NO Way in the same level as his Masterpiece , but just my own twist in his Great Idea , therefore allow me to introduce a new member to my DC Alternate Future Universe and the SDR (Stranger Danger Rangers) team plus Future Batman partner (ok sidekick!) Avenger Robin (also called Birdman IX) , an amalgam of genetic engineering , cloning and cybernetics nearly 100 years in the making as way to try to revive Project : "BIRDMAN" . "During the 1960's an extra ordinary and brave Hero emerge to fight against Evil , his name : Birdman - An ordinary human endowed by the sun god Ra (although this origin is only vaguely and briefly hinted , his real name is given as Ray Randall) with the ability to shoot solar rays from his fists and project "solar shields" to defend himself against attacks. He was recruited by a top-secret government agency, Inter-Nation Security, and now works full-time fighting crime, assisted by his eagle sidekick Avenger. In addition to the abilities he received from Ra, Birdman also possesses the power of flight, thanks to the giant wings which sprout from his back. His sole weakness is that he must periodically recharge his super powers through exposure to the sun’s rays. His trademark is his battle cry of "Biiiiirdman!!" when he goes into battle". However his Glory days ended suddenly and shortly when one of his many adversaries finally manage to success in eliminating the noble hero by encasing him and his partner Eagle Avenger on his own Mountain headquarters in a Unbreakable prison of Amber , but his friends and allies di not wanted this to be end of his legacy and although others took his mantle over the years , none manage to be equal to the Legendary Crime Fighter , and so Project : "BIRDMAN" was started as a way to bring them back , one way or another , with some hit and miss along the way , it wasn't until 2051 that Wayne Enterprises (the head of the Project , after the LuthorCorp fiasco , but that's another story!) finally broke the Amber and retrieve the bodies of the fallen heroes , using what was left of their combined DNA and using recently found advance alien technology , created the before mentioned new creature as homage to their brave history , having the powers and memories of their past lives both Birdman and Avenger are now one being , the 13 year old hatchling (he's half human , half eagle) Robert Randall Wayne (Robin) , adopted young brother to Thomas Alfred Wayne and apprentice of the Batman as the new member of the family. Hope you like his origin , the recipe is fairly basic a Deluxe Power Rangers Mega Ranger Red for the body , "fused" with Hanna-Barbera Birdman set Avenger as head , back fully articulated wings and bird fingers in exchange for the feet , liked how the original colors matched , so NO painting was needed , pure mash up , added some rustic weapons and finished , like I said a simple custom , but very Cool , again hope you approve and Thanks! .
