With the X-Men movie coming up, I felt the urge to make some X-Men related customs. With the movie coming out, and the reviews going up, and everything sounding great, I felt the urge to make even more. I'll probably feel the same once I actually get to see the movie, as well. But, on to the figure. Here we have the younger brother of Cannonball and Husk. Icarus, aka Angel with red wings. I'm noticing the Guthrie family is like a go-to for making new mutants. Lots of brothers and sisters, all mutants. Outside of being a musician, Joshua Guthrie really feels like a copy of Angel. Although, I do recall reading he had sonic manipulation, as well. I stumbled across a few images of his, and had an extra pair of wings around, so I decided to give him a shot. Didn't really like his costume variations, so I went with this look instead. Sculpted up the legs to look more like pants, and sanded the beard off the Thor head. Put him together, repainted, and done.
