First of all I have to give a shoutout to Marcx89 Blain3 and ringomendoza for reigniting my love for the xmen as I once had as a kid. You guys are an inspiration. Now who isnt excited for this weeks movie? Couldnt help myself to start my own series for DOFP ever since the end credits in The Wolverine.
To start things off we have The Wolverine. This was a simple fix to the military Marvel Select logan. Now he sports the jeans look that he is advertised in the Empire magazine.
All I did was swap his lower shins with ML X3 Colossus and the jeans wash paint job. Effective? Yes indeed. Sculpted the belt buckle with aves.

Lets all get crazy for days of future past now...
Shoutout to THESTASHBIN over on youtube for doing a wonderful tutorial on how to use flight stands to pose your action figures. helped alot.

Yay! A friend of mine gave me six metal coathangers I can make flight stands with. And another friend good with materials is gonna have a go making a vest and jacket for Wolvie here and I'd like to try do the jeans look of yours but I can't afford a Colossus yet (he's about £20 here) just to nab his feet. :P How do you switch those leg bits though? Is it easy even for a novice like myself?

it is very easy. What use is a little plug in heater or a hair dryer leave the action figure there for about 2min or till its loose enough. I then push the peg out with a toothpick and viola joint removed.

Well no dollar stores here, we have poundshops (I'm in UK) and yeah they only have wooden skewers round here. I'm on a quest for metal coat hangers now. Asking my local friends on Facebook if they have any. :P

Me again! Just noticing how damn cool those stands look and didn't know you could make them yourself. I only find this out now after giving away the few metal coat hangers I had and finding there ain't a place in this town that sells them anymore (they all got purely plastic ones). Had at look at your photos here and loads of others online with these stands, they really do make figure displays come alive. Beats just having everyone standing straight on the shelf as usual.
