Waaaay back in the mid seventies, Marvel introduced us to James Patrick Scully (later to become Jim Skully)- a Nam Vetran caught in the Bermuda Triangle. The series ran for about six books - was then dropped and came back briefly in two Marvel Team Ups with the Thing.

A decade later, he was brought back as 'blazing Skull' to team up with first Captain America and then Quasaar.

Another lengthy break - and then back again with Hawkeye - shortly follwed by an outing with the X-men and the Future Foundation.

This guy's had more regenerations than Doctor Who.

From a Hasslehoff look alike in the seventies, to a transparent x-ray man in the nineties, to a pot bellied, middle-aged beak-nosed baldy in 2000, and finally into a bearded hippy! All thanks to his power belt.

Marvel just can't get rid of him....
