Hi everyone, TMNT universe could use a new mutant addition to their great list of characters. I wanted to created a new turtle. This turtle look and fighting style is very different from the Ninja turtles from New York City. He came from China and is a turtle monk from Shaolin... His name is "Picasso". Named after 20th century Spainard painter Pablo Picasso.

Picasso originally came from the same pet shop as the four ninja turtles but he was purchased before them because of his brownish-golden brown yellowish skin tone which made him different from the green turtles.
One day the boy who owned Picasso decided to clean his tank because of its fowl odor and placed Picasso temporary inside the toilet water while he was cleaning. The young boy's dad wanted to take a dump and accidently flushed the toilet not knowing Picasso was inside. Picasso ended up in the sewer system at the time when Shredder dumped the mutagen ooze. The sewer water took Picasso right into the ooze then carried him straight to the atlantic ocean. While Picasso was mutating, he was able to hop aboard a Chinese export cargo ship heading back to china. Once he reached China, a group of Monks saw this weird creature and tought it was a gift from Buddha and took Picasso to Shaolin to learn the ancient arts of Shaolin Kung-fu.

Picasso trained for many years and then left to become a wanderer and often time visit his old friends from the pet shop the ninja turtles to prove to them that shaolin kung-fu is superior than ninjitsu.
His personality and traits is a combination of 3 ninja turtles. He loyal and humble like Leo, Inteligent & whitty like Donnie and a loner and strong fighter like Ralph but without the hot head attitude

Here what I did to create this Monk turtle. First I took a neca tmnt and replaced the upper arms & upper legs with Sota Gen and Fei Long to give Picasso double jointed articulation. Next I sculpted his hanging sleeves and sandals lining and added straps. Eyebrows and hair was sculpted with one Cammy braid attachment.The straw hat was sculpted from a sink strainer His Gi is from fodder and his main weapon the Dragon Claw Staff to match his Dragon Claw style of kung-fu was also created from fodder parts and nails. Picasso is a expert of all type of weapons, so he comes with a sword, claw, spear and nunchukas. Finally painted him up in multiple colors of brown and yellowish shading and gave his shell a different design..and he was done
