Even though it went on longer than it should have and I dislike some of the direction that the characters and story eventually took, the Clone Saga has to be my favorite Spider-Man story arc. With this in mind, I found a good deal for the Marvel Urban Legends Boxset on ebay. I bought it specifically for UL Spider-Man and Daredevil with the intent to re-sell Electra and Punisher; however, when I held the Punisher in my hands, I saw Kaine in him and just had to let Kaine come out.

When I started this job, I had just recently finished my first custom, the Lifetheft/90's version of the Vulture, and decided to kick things up a notch by using apoxie sculpt and a custom head from the Casting Cave (thank you Casting Cave, you are a life-saver!).

Afterwards, I removed the skull and belt from Punisher's body and sculpted in the gaps and the vein-like lines in his costume. I then made his cloak with apoxie and a modified version of Electra's skirt.

Overall, I am very satisfied with how he turned out, but would have liked to make abs instead of just filling in where the skull used to be. Also, as the apoxie was drying, I accidently dropped the figure and caught him with my hand--this has left some noticeable marks in the apoxie so... yeah, I would really like to go back and re-smooth it out in the future or make new abs.

As this would be my second custom ever, I appreciate any comments or feedback. I enjoy collecting and now am truly enjoying creating. Please let me know what you think!
