This is a Marvel Legends Style Moon Knight custom action figure. I based it on the artwork of the great Stephen Platt. I wanted to capture the larger then life, over the top style, and muscles that made SPATT so famous in the 90's. It started life as a Venom figure from the Amazing spider-man line. This figure had the large arms and little waist that was required. I re-sculpted the neck area to fix the hunchback look. Most of this effort was later covered up by the cloth cape and hood, but it was worth it. I sculpted the lower arms, legs, belt, and chest area to add in the armor. The head was DCUC Naut Kei Loi, that I completely sculpted over, leaving only the original eyes. The entire figure was repainted black, and dry brushed white to bring out all the detail in the figure. The armor on the legs, arms, belt, and chest have a silver wash on them to set them off from the rest of the white. The cape and hood are made from fabric and wires. This was inspired by the work from Spawnsauce customs. Each peace can be positioned separately. They were painted black and again dry brushed white. The figure was painted with Model Masters Acrylic paints and sealed with a flat clear Acrylic.
